Sho is a current PhD student jointly supervised with Zehang Li. He advanced to candidacy in 2024. He is working on development of small area estimation models that incorporate structured shrinkage and selection of random effects. He was the 2024 recipient of the Wray Jackson Smith Scholarship from the GSS/SSS sections of the ASA!
